How to Check Your Firebase Bill and Budget From Your Phone

A Blaze project can run up a bill overnight. How to check the billing account and budget from your phone.

Why this matters on Blaze

On the Blaze plan, Firebase bills by usage and there is no hard spending cap. A function stuck in a loop, or a listener reading a whole collection on every change, can cost real money before morning. A budget does not stop spending, but it is how you get warned.

Budgets, in one minute

Checking it in FireLog

  1. 1

    Open the project

Sign in with Google and pick your Blaze project.

  2. 2

    Open Budget

FireLog shows the linked billing account and the project's budget amount and period.

  3. 3

    Adjust it

Edit the budget amount from your phone when your usage changes (Pro).

FireLog reads this through the Cloud Billing and Billing Budgets APIs with your Google account, so you need a billing role on the account to see or change it, just as in the Cloud console.

Can I see my Firebase bill on my phone?
