A Firebase Console App for Android
Google does not ship a Firebase console app for Android. What you can do in a mobile browser, and what a native app adds.

Is there an official Firebase console app for Android?
No. Google publishes the Firebase SDKs for Android, but the console itself only exists as a website at console.firebase.google.com. There is no Firebase console app in the Play Store from Google.
That leaves two options on an Android phone: open the web console in Chrome, or use a third-party app that talks to the same Firebase and Google Cloud APIs.
The web console on a phone
The web console loads in mobile Chrome, and for a quick look it works. It was built for a desktop, though, and it shows:
- Data tables and the Firestore viewer scroll sideways and are hard to tap accurately.
- Cloud Functions logs open in the Google Cloud console, a second heavy site.
- Sessions expire, so you sign in again just when something is on fire.
- Billing lives in a separate Cloud Billing page you have to find first.
What FireLog does on Android
FireLog is a native Android and iOS app for the Firebase console. You sign in with the same Google account you use for Firebase, and it reads your projects through Google's own APIs. There is no server of ours in between.
| Area | On Android |
|---|---|
| Projects | Every project on your Google account, prod and staging side by side |
| Firestore | Browse collections and documents, filter, and edit fields (editing is Pro) |
| Realtime Database | Browse the JSON tree |
| Cloud Functions | Every function, its trigger and region, with its log stream |
| Authentication | Users with created and last sign-in dates |
| Storage and Hosting | Buckets, files and hosting releases |
| Billing | Your billing account and budget for the project |
| Remote Config, App Check, App Distribution, Extensions | Read their current state |
Setting it up
- 1
Install FireLog
Get it from the Play Store.
- 2
Sign in with Google
Use the account that owns or has access to your Firebase projects. Google asks you to approve Firebase and Cloud project access.
- 3
Pick a project
Your projects load straight away. Open Firestore, Functions or any other service from the dashboard.
Your permissions are the same as in the web console. If your Google account can only read a project, FireLog can only read it too.
